Objectives
ATRIA will deliver a generic and intelligent tool to control current satellite flexible payloads and their configurable traditional counterparts. AI/ML algorithms will provide the tool with the sufficient intelligence to autonomously decide the optimum configuration of the available satellite resources for the on demand service requests.
Address advanced definition of modern telecom use cases supporting flexible payloads features and Very High Throughput Satellites in support to 5G connectivity.
Prototype and validate as Proof of Concept an advance ground segment tool to support a wide range of flexible payloads and VHTS.
Define Robust datasets for training AI algorithms supporting flexible payloads and VHTS.
Tailor and train AI algorithms in the context of satellite flexible payloads features and benchmarking them for adequate technology candidates for advance ground segments evolution.
Validate a flexible payload emulator in lab.
Demonstrate the usefulness of AI in flexible payloads for different platforms in different use cases for a complete system both in lab and in an industrially relevant environment.
